Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
- Candidate Should have Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Instrumentation of Control Engineering / Power System and High Voltage Engineering/ Power Electronics Engineering/ Power Engineering/ Electrical & Power Engineering from recognized college or University.
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)
- Candidate Should have Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Production Industrial Engineering/ Thermal Engineering/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering from recognized college or University.
Assistant Engineer (Instrumentation)
- Candidate Should have Bachelors’ Degree in Electronics Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation of Control Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering/ Electronics and Power Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from recognized college or University.

- Candidates working with Company for last 05 years in Technical Cadre.
Salary / Pay Scale for MAHAGENCO Assistant Engineer (AE) recruitment 2022
- Pay scale for Assistant Engineer (AE) in MAHAGENCO is ₹49210-2165-60035- 2280-119315/-
- Candidates selected to the post of “Assistant Engineer” in MAHAGENCO will be given Initial training of 52 weeks as “Graduate Engineer Trainee’s”. During the training period the “Graduate Engineer Trainee’s” will be paid Honorarium of Rs. 22,000/- per month. After training, for the first 03 years selected candidate has to work compulsorily at MAHAGENCO’s any thermal power plant.
- The selected candidate must serve Bond of Rs. 5,00,000/- for not to leave the Company before completion of 5 years of service.

- for Departmental Candidates - 57 years
- Age relaxed by 5 years for the candidates applying against Backward Category post

Selection Process for MAHAGENCO AE Recruitment 2022
- The Recruitment process will be tentatively conducted in the month of Jan-2023
- prescribed qualification are minimum and mere possession of the same, does not entitle the candidate to be called for Online Examination.
- Selection of candidates for Assistant Engineer (AE) posts in MAHAGENCO will be through online written exam
